Breaking Bad Season 5 – Cranston’s Throne

Breaking Bad’s 5th and final season is heading our way, kicking off next month on AMC. To get heads properly prepped for the beginning of the end, earlier this week FX released this Breaking Bad Season 5 poster with the tagline ‘All the hail The King” above Bryan Cranston’s Walter Site sitting upon a humble throne, surrounded by a hoard that would make a Lannister proud.
While the final season does begin on July 15th like the poster says, you will still be catching new episodes of Breaking Bad next year, as the 16 episode season will be split into two arcs of 8 episodes, the second of which will air NEXT (that’s 2013) summer.

Earlier in the week told you about a writer roundtable that included Breaking Bad showrunner Vince Gilligan participating, where he offered some insights about last season and the craft of writing. He talks about the death of a character from last season, I wonder if he is speaking of the subject of this recently released featurette of last season’s final showdown.
