Burn Notice Season 6 Casts Brian White

Burn Notice USA

Burn Notice continues to round out its guest stars for the upcoming sixth season of the USA series, with the latest addition being Brian White. White, who most recently could be seen in Joss Whedon’s Cabin in the Woods – which you really should go see if you haven’t, especially if you’ve ever wanted to see a unicorn skewer a man alive – will pop in to team up with Jeffrey Donovan’s Michael Westen in order to take down a ruthless Boston Mob syndicate. Should be just another day in the life of a former covert-operations agent now working as a private investigator.

According to EW.com, White will make his appearance in Episode 8 of Season 6, and he will playing the role of Agent Woods, a “hard-edged and by-the-book FBI agent” who has spent the majority of his time at the Bureau hunting down this syndicate. I’m assuming Woods has a personal interest in taking down these scumbags, otherwise why would he be so focused on bringing them to justice? Something must have happened to him or someone close to him to motivate him to pursue them so adamantly over the years. If that’s the case – and good for me for calling it – that history will unravel itself through out the episode.

But working with Westen comes with a small price. Woods will find himself tempted to resort to ethically questionable tactics to get the job done and put this mob away. Depending on Woods’ motivations, he could be less or more so inclined to bend the rules. Just as an example, if his sister was killed by this mob, Woods could be willing to do just about anything to exact his revenge. It may not be the most inspired of twists, but it adds certain gravity to the situation. There are countless ways to motivate Woods; it’s just a matter of finding the one that works the best.
