Electra and Elise Avellan – The Mona Lisa Twins – Return for Machete Kills

A week after locking up tiger blood himself, we get word that Robert Rodriguez  and the sequel to his action exploitation piece  Machete, Machete Kills, will return a double dose of quality, intensive, care with Electra and Elise Avellan, the twin nurses Mona and  Lisa, back in the fold.

 Variety brought the word that the the crazy babysitter twins that debuted in Grindhouse would be back. Beyond being 2x hot, this is a family affair, as Electra and Elise are nieces of Rodriguez. The Venezuelan sisters join a hell of a set to visit, Machete Kills already sporting the likes of Jessica Alba, Sofia Vergara, Michelle Rodriguez and Amber Heard.  Also, Mel Gibson and of course, Danny Trejo.

The basic synopsis for Machete Kills goes like this:

Machete Kills finds the titular ex-federale (Danny Trejo) recruited by the U.S. government to stop a terrorist named Mendez the Madman, who happens to be Mexico’s leading cartel dealer. Mel Gibson is set to co-star as Luther Voz, a cunning arms dealer and death merchant who aims to spread war across the planet by launching a missile.

Machete Kills is slated to hit theaters next year.
