According to a report by Deadline Watson is in talks for the role of Ila, who is described as “a young woman who develops a close relationship with Noah’s son, Shem”. The aforementioned Connelly is circling the part of Noah’s wife. Earlier in the week, the role of Shem was picked up by Douglas Booth, and the role of Noah’s older son, Ham, was cast to Logan Lerman, who happens to be co-starring in another upcoming film with Emma Watson, The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

People may recall that Aronofsky was attached to direct MARVEL’s next Wolverine film last year, but pulled out. Noah is a joint venture between Paramount and New Regency.
