Girls Season 2 and Lena Dunham Back to HBO in January?

HBO’s Girls ended its 10-episode first season last night, which now has fans asking the logical question of when will they see more of the Lena Dunham created, written, and starring show return for its second season? We know there is one, HBO having committed to another set of ten episodes at the end of April. Judd Apatow, who many people know as the mind behind such shows as Freaks and Geeks and films like The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, is one of the producers of Girls and took to twitter last night to offer anxious fans some possibilities.
Apatow first noted that they are about half way through filming the Girls second season. He then, responding to a question about next season, added, “yes. Looking like January”.
Along with the aforementioned Dunham, Girls features a cast that includes Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, and Adam Driver.
