Jenna-Louise Coleman with Doctor Who Matt Smith
I’m not so much a Doctor Who enthusiast but I have to admit I am often a fan of the companions that the show introduces or offers more continuous exposure to U.S. audiences. Jenna-Louise Coleman, the current heir apparent as Matt Smith’s Doctor Who Series 7 companion, had a bit role in MARVEL’s Captain America: First Avenger film (she was also in the latest Titanic project but I tapped early on that, though I was excited for it due to the Downton Abbey writer involved), but I’m otherwise not familiar with her. BBC has released two more images of Coleman with the good Doctor, to go along with the previous mischievious tease that was released earlier this month.

Jenna-Louise Coleman looks to have the goods, lessening the blow of the loss of Karen Gillian, but we will have to wait until the upcoming Christmas special to see if she fits the Tardis. Showrunner Steven Moffat seems quite sure Coleman will do just fine, previously saying of her, “and exactly mad enough to step on board the TARDIS.”
Doctor Who Series 7 kicks of later this year, with a reported 6 of the 14 episodes airing this year (with Karen Gillan making her exit in the 5th).
