Liam McIntyre Bows Down to Spartacus

We were sent these images early this morning that I thought might be of interest to Spartacus fans of all ages. These images are from Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Goldenson Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday in an event that served tribute in celebrating O.G. Spartacus Kirk Douglas (in the 1960 Stanley Kubrick film), and showcased the release of his (tenth!) book, I Am Spartacus! Making a Film, Breaking the Blacklist (which comes out on June 12th).

In them you may notice that the current star of STARZ Spartacus series, one Liam McIntyre is in the house and showing proper respect to the legendary actor, while appearing to promote the upcoming third season off Spartacus. At the event, McIntyre presented Douglas with a special sword that had inscribed: ”For Kirk, the original hero. Stand together or fall divided.”
The third season of Spartacus returns to STARZ in early 2013. Just as a reminder, STARZ will replay the existing episodes of the Spartacus starting on June 8th, every Friday night in 3-episode runs until August. You can read the complete schedule here so you can get your Gods of the Arena and Blood and Sand on (again) and not miss a beat(down).
