Turtle Power! Nickelodeon Rolls out TMNT Trailer on Legend of Korra Finale Power!

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, icons of my own childhood, are coming back across multiple front in the near future. You probably know about the Michael Bay backed TMNT movie coming our way, but it’s also going back to its cartoon roots (not o.g. like the comics, but it’s what made Turtles go mainstream and eventually into multiple theatrical releases back by a toy empire). Nickelodeon will be delivering the turtle power and offer TV watchers a trailer to teas e their viewers tomorrow while the popular (and perhaps the standard) cartoon Legend of Korra (season 1, book 1) finale airs. That’s an ideal marketing spot.

EW, however, allows us to watch it now (see video below) and it doesn’t look that awful (being old, I’m supposed to think it does). No Splinter or my girl April, but we do get the four fellas, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo — and a bit of Shredder! Some familiar names are offering their voices for the turtles, Jason Biggs is Leonardo, Sean Astin is Raphael, Greg Cipes is Michelangelo, and Rob Paulsen voices Donatello.

Man, I just got reminded of the 4 player arcade game. Turtles was HOT back in the day.
