Once Upon a Time Season 2 – More Meghan Ory!

I’m always down for more Meghan Ory, and if Once Upon A Time fans are of a similar mind they will be pleased with word coming down today that their Red Riding Hood has been given a promotion for the upcoming second season. Ory, a stunner, will now be a series regular in a show that she appeared in 17 of the 22 episodes in the initial season.

Deadline reports that locking up Once Upon a Time’s Ruby became a bit of an important move at the end of last year when the actress started exploring some pilot offers she was drawing. For myself, I watched the first couple of episodes of Once Upon a Time, wanted to like it but didn’t love it as much as I thought I would (kind of really got bored with the kid. See: Terra Nova also) and it became that show I’d shelf but still really would look forward to consume in large chucks (my preference in consuming tv) when it hit a netflix – something I’m looking forward to. I mean, anything with Robert Carlyle in it has to get at least a second shot (LOVED him in Stargate Universe).
Once Upon a Time was re-upped for a second season last month and is scheduled to return to ABC’s Sunday night line-up in September.
