Once Upon a Time Season 2 – More Emilie de Ravin Belle!

Once Upon a Time is going to get an extra dose of Belle next season as former LOST star, the lovely Emilie de Ravin, has been promoted to a series regular for season 2. De Ravin was cast as Belle back in November and appeared in three episodes in the first season, including the season finale. Belle is attached to one of my favorite actors in Once Upon a Time, Robert Carlyle (Rumplestiltskin).

 Tvline also brought the word from one of Once Upon a Time’s writers, Jane Espenson, who mentioned that initially Emilie’s role was meant to be a one-off because they didn’t feel like she would be available, but her pilot at ABC Americana – which we told you about back in February – didn’t get picked up. Earlier this month, another Once Upon a Timer got promoted, as we will also get to see more of Meghan Ory’s Ruby next season.

Once Upon a Time is scheduled to return to ABC in September.
