Twilight’s Ashley Greene Goes Clubbing From Breaking Dawn

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been all over the film news wire with their post-Twilight career films, especially with Cannes, now it’s time for my personal favorite Twilight Saga star, Ashley Greene, to get in on this! Now, to go along with The Apparition, horror film Greene stars in with Sebastian Shaw, The Twilight beauty has landed the female lead in CBGB.

According to Variety, Greene has landed the role of Lisa Kristal, the daughter of the club (CBGB) owner Hilly Kristal, played by Alan Rickman. For those that don’t know (like me), the Manhattan based CBGB was apparently a significant venue for punk and new wave bands in the 70s and 80s. Greene joins a casts that already includes the likes of Malin Akerman, Rupert Grint, Johnny Galecki, Joel David Moore, and Stana Katic. Filming is slated to start later this month.

You will be able to catch Ashley Greene in the aforementioned The Apparition on August 24th, and back as Alice Cullen in Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 in November.
