American Horror Story Season 2 – Franka Potente Admitted

American Horror Story keeps loading up for its upcoming second season, and is doing so with a rather eclectic casting season. The latest addition to the slick  FX horror show starred in one of my favorite movies, Run Lola Run. That’s right, Franka Potente is on her way to the crazy house. The Jessica Lange – who returns to American Horror Story season 2 portraying a different character – ran mad house is admitting Potente,  and according to TVline  is described as a “mysterious” patient. For those who haven’t seen Potente’s work in Run Lola Run, you’d probably surely recall her as Marie in the trio of Jason Bourne films, where she appears as Matt Damon’s squeeze. If you are a little older, you will remember her in Blow, which was kind of a buzzy movie of my early adult life.

Just in this month American Horror Story has added the beautiful Jenna Dewan, Clea Duvall of Carnivale, soapy Mark Consuelos, and Chris Zylka. These addition were just the latest in group that ALREADY included Adam Levine (who will pair up with Dewan), Chloe Sevigny, Lizzie Brochere, Britne Oldfor, and more.

American Horror Story’s second season premieres on FX in October for another (at least) 13 episode order.
