Fringe Season 5 Tease – Observe!

Quick hitter to share a little Fringe season 5, the final season of the FOX Science fiction drama starring Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson and John Noble, with you by way of Comic Con poster that has hit the interwebs. From the outside looking in I’ve always been impressed with the way Fringe markets in general, but find myself not especially intrigued by this one. The Observers are coming, and watch out they have bad hats (not everyone can flex it like Dr. Jones).

Comic-Con, SDCC, doesn’t start until mid-month but typically around this leading up to the event is open season for promo material, and EW got the drop on this one. J.H. Wyman, the Fringe stand-alone showrunner this season with Jeff Pinkner exiting last month, is keeping a lid on revealing too much, but he did share some word with EW about the season, mostly about not wanting to create paradoxes by traveling in time to stop himself from revealing spoilers. I, personally, have found the best way to make time travelers do something you want them to is to call them chicken or yellow. It worked on Marty.
As mentioned above, the upcoming season will be the final season for Fringe at FOX and will kick off this fall on September 28th for 13 more new episodes, bringing the show’s total throughout its run to an even 100. The season 5 premiere is titled ”Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11″.
