Kristen Stewart – Rupert Sanders? Robert Pattinson? Forget it. Alex Pettyfer Time in Cali

I know all the Kristen Stewart news right now involves something other than movie making, and is more about Rupert Sanders and Robert Pattinson (and should be about the wife and kids of Sanders), but a tidbit of an actual movie starring Twilight’s Bella Swann creeped out this week as well, namely, the possible casting addition of Alex Pettyfer – who previously has wooed Emma Roberts and Glee’s Dianna Agron - in Cali. The film itself as a really odd synopsis, involving a couple selling a fake film and riding off with goods, but having to return to save Stewart’s sister. Cali is directed by Nick Cassavetes, which now makes everything make sense. Pettyfer is described to be in final negotiations by Variety to star opposite of Stewart.

You probably saw a lot of Alex Pettyfer in Magic Mike, and I (yes!) saw a lot of Vanessa Hudgens in the movie he starred with her, Beastly. he was also featured in Andrew Niccol’s In Time. In Cali he’s set to play Chris, the lover of Mya (Kristen Stewart). Stewart is currently also listed as a producer on Cali, which is scheduled to be released next year after starting production later this summer.
