Kristin Kreuk Throwing Down in Beauty and the Beast

Kristin Kreuk is back on television and familiar stomping grounds at the The CW, starring in the upcoming Beauty and the Beast, and we have a fresh new clip sent to us by the CW offering a look at the Beauty and the Beast pilot, which is set to air on October 11th. Kreuk is joined by Jay Ryan, who will play beast to her beauty (and looking at this clip, Lana Lang still kind of has it going on for sure). In fact, this clip is probably the best of the promo material I’ve seen for the show thus far (FYI – I’ve seen the pilot and mildly enjoyed it – MUCH more than I thought I would). The clip starts with Kristen’s character, Detective Catherine Chandler, running into some trouble and handling her business.

Beauty and the Beast will be led into by The Vampire Diaries in a very nice Thursday scheduling slot being fed into by CW’s current flagshp show, their ratings topper starring Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, and Paul Wesley. Joining Kreuk and Ryan in Beauty and the Beast and rounding out the cast are Max Brown, Nina Lisandrello, Nicole Gale Anderson, Austin Basis, and Brian White.
