Family Guy just got a little more sultry, even through animation. Sofia Vergara is bringing heat to Peter Griffin’s life next season, at least his fantasy life as a telenovela lothario in one of Family Guy’s patented cut-away gags. Vergara’s dream gag character will be both sassy and buxxom according to Entertainment Weekly, but she also will be pulling Family Guy double duty in the actual episode, selling roses in a restaurant that both Peter and Glenn Quagmire are at.

The sexy and several times over award nominated Latin star for her portrayal of Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on ABC’s Modern Family isn’t limiting her tour of the animated FOx block with Family Guy either, Vergara’s voice will also be heard on The Cleveland Show when she stops by as Tia Sofia during Cleveland Jr.’s 15th birthday. Sofia is no rookie to animation, as you can hear her voice in animated features like Puss in Boots, Happy Feet 2, and was running around live-action with The Smurfs last year.

Family Guy‘ returns for its 11th season on September 30th. Other stars already lined up as guest stars included Twilight’s Kellan Lutz, Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds, an Elizabeth Banks. The Cleveland Show returns a month later on October 4th, which is a hip-hop special premiere.

I don’t think there is much not to like about Sofia Vergara.
