Vampire Diaries Season 4 – Vampire Hunter Coming for Nina Dobrev?

Or maybe Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley? Hell, why not all three of them. Earlier in the week some Vampire Diaries season 4 casting news dropped when we told you about couple of big new characters arriving in Mystic Falls, one a girl, and the other a fella. Of the latter we were only then able to tell you that TVD was looking for an actor that was “scary hot” to play Connor, in a role that was only described beyond that as a “highly trained killing machine.” I don’t think it’s Angel’s – for you Buffyverse fans – son either (though it sounds like him). We now know slightly more about Connor, emphasis on slightly.

E! is reporting the Connor will make his Vampire Diaries debut in the second episode of the new season, which we learnd last week will begin on October 11th (so I guess that means we will see him on the 17th). The report also adds that Connor will be sticking around AND that he is a vampire hunter, and probably the big bad that we’ve heard rumors about since the last season ended, who may fill Alaric’s shoes, who himself was kind of the “badder than Klaus” we were promised a season before.

Comic Con is next week, ad we are sure to get some kind of TVD word from there, maybe we will get the casting specifics of Connor and April, as the announcement of the existence of the two new characters came at a good time for proper build-up for a con reveal.

I happen to have beef with anyone going after Nina Dobrev, so here’s hoping he just wipes out the Salvatore brothers.
