Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion Piece Together Castle Season 5 Premiere After the Storm

ABC  has dropped our first look at Castle season 5 and it features the whole crew, with Nathan Fillion’s Castle (who looks like he’s the target of a stare down) of course prominent, but Stana Katic is just shining a bit farther back looking pretty damn thorough, as everyone tries to piece together some shredded files that may be related to the murder of Beckett’s mother according to TVline.

We know about a couple of new faces popping up in Castle next season, which includes possible trouble from above for Beckett in the form of Jack Coleman, a popular senator who finds himself at odds with Katic’s character – sounds like a role that Coleman will do well with, he was probably the standout performer on Heroes IMHO. Perhaps more of headache for Beckett (but not a bad spot for Castle) is the arrival of Jodi Lyn O’Keefe, a hot reporter who sets her sites on Fillion. The super easy-on-the-eyes former Prison Break and Nash Bridges star will show up in the second episode of the season.

Castle returns on September 24 with its season 5 premiere titled “After the Storm”.
