Sweet Karen Gillan, Dinos, Daleks and Angel Breath, in Doctor Who Series 7 Trailer!

There’s ALOT going on in this trailer for the upcoming Doctor Who series 7! Dinosaurs make everything better, especially when juxtaposed with science fiction (see: Dinobots) and we get a few scenes of dino-heaven, along with Daleks for days, space battles, and even a jaunt through what looks like the wild west! Also, series 7 is the beginning of the swan song season for current companion Amy Pond, who is, of course, portrayed by Karen Gillan, who also makes everything better.
Once can’t be too mad though because the lady in waiting to be Matt Smith’s (who is entering his third season as the Doctor) next sidekick is the too cute Jenna-Louise Coleman. Still, fans will have Gillan around for a few episodes in series 7, so don’t let the teaser get you too down. Doctor Who fans will get 6 episodes of the season this year, which also includes the Christmas special – which is an episode nobody is going to miss. The back 8 episodes will air in 2013. There is a host of guest stars lined up for the next season, perhaps capped by the recent announcement of mother/daughter tandem Rachael Stirling and Dame Diana Rigg being cast in the same episode last month (will be episode 10 of the season).
Doctor Who series 7 kicks off this August on BBC with a season premiere titled “Asylum of the Daleks”.
