Showtime Delivers Homeland Season 2 and Dexter Season 7 Trailers

A couple of fresh trailers for two Showtime heavyweights have arrived, one from longtime network flagship Dexter’s season 7 and another for relative newcomer Homeland’s second season. Let’s start with the former, with the second season of Homeland picking up after several months of Claire Danes’ stay at a psych ward, this trailer however focuses on Damian Lewis’ Brody, who stays not being able to get a private moment and a bunch of emotional scenes accompanied by and heightened by “Every Breath You Take” by Scala & Kolacny Brothers on the tunes. Personally, I always dig seeing my Firefly girl, Morena Baccarin. Homeland returns to Showtime on September 30th and will be led into by Dexter. Segue…

Okay Dexter fans, a lot of the previews for Dexter season 7 have been a bit sparse on new material, instead focusing on the central of the new world order of the Dex and Deb relationship, post-last season’s finale. That’s great if you just wanted to be teased and not potentially spoiled, but this one below offer us MORE on that score and some new strands, so avoid this now if you want to stay in the dark regarding all things season 7.

What we unfortunately don’t see is Yvonne Strahovski, who’s one of the great familiar faces coming to Dexter this season, along with Ray Stevenson, Matt Gerald, Katia Winter, and Jason Gedrick .
