NCIS Season 10: A Holiday Family Reunion

NCIS

Nothing quite brings family together like the winter holidays, no matter which one you may be celebrating. NCIS knows this full well, which is why you can expect a bit of a family reunion when the popular drama airs its holiday episode this year. But which of the cast will get to spend time with their family at Christmas time? Our lucky man is none other than Tony DiNozzo, whose father, Anthony DiNozzo, Sr.  – played by Robert Wagner – will be making his fourth appearance on NCIS. Since he’ll be appearing right around Christmas, will his around to see his son, or will he be involved in another case?

TVLine had nothing else to add on Wagner’s return, but the news of returning family members didn’t stop with the DiNozzos. Before the holidays, we’ll be getting a another visit from Abby’s younger brother Kyle, as played by Daniel Luis Rivas. While we don’t know if Wagner will have significance story-wise, we can say with a certainty Rivas will be back to partake in an important storyline. Coming off the aftermath of Season 9’s explosive finale, which came close to taking the lives of several characters, Kyle will find himself involved in something. What that something is has not been revealed yet, but he will show up in an early October episode.

Are there any other family members that should show up in Season 10? If you have anyone in particular you want to see come back, or maybe someone we’ve haven’t met yet, feel free to say so in the comments below. With any luck, the producers and writers might see it and actually bring that person on the show. And if not… well this is NCIS. It doesn’t need relatives to be interesting. It’ll get along just fine with the main cast doing their thing. Still, it’s always nice to see familiar faces pop up now and again. NCIS will return Tuesday, Sept. 25.
