Banshee in the House with Killer Annable

Late of House hottie Odette Annable (Dr. Jessica Adams on the FOX drama) has landed quickly in another interesting project, having grabbed a role in Cinemax’s upcoming new crime drama called Banshee. There is a House connection here, as Banshee’s executive producer is Greg Yaitanes (though you’ve probably heard mostly about True Blood boss Alan Ball’s involvement most thus far), who directed a TON of House episodes, but I don’t think you need too much cause to want Annable in your show. She also has been cast in a very cool (at least sounding) role, as a Native American assassin.
TVline adds that her character has a “murky” past, I think mandatory given her profession, and is, of course, a looker. We can expect to see Annable featured in a multi-episode arc in a show about a very competent crook, Lucas, portrayed by Antony Starr, who assumes the role of a town sheriff in Banshee, Pennsylvania – while still operating as aforementioned shady type. Also already on board for Banshee are the lovely Ivana Milicevic, Rus Blackwell, Ulrich Thomsen, Matt Servitto, Trieste Dunn, Daniel Ross Owens, Hoon Lee, and, as we told you awhile back, former Disney girl Lili Simmons.
Banshee has a 10 episode order first season from Cinemax.
