LOST Big Man a Giant in Once Upon a Time

Last month we told you that Jorge Garcia was someone that Once Upon a Time co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (who were also in the writing room of LOST, where Garcia busted through as Hurley) had an eye on for a spot in the ABC fantasy/drama, and it looks like they got their wish. At the time, Garcia was coming off of the canceled Alcatraz, but the big man has landed on his feet, set to appear as a giant in the upcoming second season of Once Upon a Time. Beyond even the production team, this may mean another LOST reunion is in the works, as Emilie De Ravin was bumped to a series regular earlier this summer, insuring more of Belle. Alan Dale, of course, is also in Once.
Garcia is set to only appear in a single episode thus far, but it will be his second guest spot he has lined up that will make him cross paths with fellow LOSTies. He’s also locked in to appear in the next season of Showtime’s Californication, reuniting with Maggie Grace, who herself has a major role in season.
You can add Garcia to a gang of new faces coming to Once that already included Jaime Chung (who we recently got a glimpse of armored up as Mulan), Sarah Bolger, Sinqua Walls, Colin O’Donoghue, and Michael Raymond-James. The new season kicks off on ABC on September 30th.
