Anastasia Griffith in Cinemax’s Banshee Finale

Anastasia Griffith is now set to appear Cinemax’s Banshee, a show that I’ve known about for awhile but really grabbed my attention – hint: someone give me a screener – when the first awesome promo dropped. I know some would be interested just because of Alan Ball’s involvement due to what he did with HBO’s True Blood, but I’m not really a fan of that show (I know, I’m like the only one). This is one of those cases where reading the show’s text description didn’t do what I saw in the video teaser justice.
Griffith, who has been all over television the last few years with substantial roles in shows like Damages, Once Upon a Time, Trauma, Royal Pains, and now on Copper, will appear in Banshee’s first season finale, according to TVline. She will play a prison psychiatrist who treats Lucas (the central character in Banshee played by Antony Starr.) Banshee’s first season order is for ten episode on Cinemax. Along with Starr, you will be able to catch Ivana Milicevic, Odette Annable, and Lili Simmons in Banshee.
Banshee is set to debut in January.
