Beauty Kristin Kreuk Meets Beast, talks new CW Show

A couple of Beauty and the Beast items to share with you today that we have from the CW, featuring former Smallville Ms. Lana ~~Thang~~ Lang Kristin Kreuk, tackling a role she’s ultimately qualified for, Beauty. Above is a clip called “Confrontation” from the series premiere (debuting on the CW in October 11th), and no it’s not Kreuk’s Catherine Chandler kicking butt like in a previous B&B teaser, but instead, shows her meeting Jay Ryan’s titular (but not at all literal) “beast”. The second item (below) is an interview featurette from Beauty and the Beast.

As noted above, Kreuk is looking rather righteous in the interview, and the pilot, which I’ve seen, isn’t as bad as I think some would guess off-hand. Beauty and the Beast is going to get every chance, being lead in by the CW’s current flagship show, The Vampire Diaries.
