American Horror Story season 2, Asylum, Welcomes you to Briarcliff with Adam Levine and Jenna Dewan-Tatum

American Horror Story returns for season 2, dubbed Asylum, this Wednesday with “Welcome to Briarcliff”, and the season 2 premiere is going to debut a host of new characters – the most recent of which being the one and only Ian McShane – mixed in with actors returning from the first American Horror Story season in different roles, and we have a few examples from FX in this small batch of promo images from the season 2 premiere.

Among the new arrivals are Leo and Teresa, the couple comprised of Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Adam Levine, “the lovers”, who we get a couple of new looks at here. We also see Sarah Paulson, one of the aforementioned returning members of the cast, as well as Evan Peters and Lily Rabe. I have a feeling that nuns are going to freak us out this season, especially if Jessica Lange has anything to say about it.

American Horror Story “Welcome to Briarcliff” (2.01) airs on FX on October 17th.
