Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion take Castle to The Final Frontier

Castle fans are in the midst of a two week hiatus between episodes, with the next of the season 5 offerings coming at you on October 29th,  so we are here to offer some reprieve, though we are going far future in more ways than one. This is a large promo image gallery for “The Final Frontier”, the November 5th episode of Castle. It looks like a special treat for Fillion fans, who think Captain Malcolm Reynolds should still be on tv. Stana Katic’s Beckett doesn’t look appalled either.

“The Final Frontier” is an apt title, not only because the show is going into nerd territory, but also because it’s directed by former Star Trek #1, Jonathan Frakes, who also (as you can see) makes a cameo guest appearance. In fact, guest stars about, with Ed Quinn, Chris McKenna, and Erin Way also set to appear.

When a body is found at a sci-fi convention, Castle and Beckett are warped into the heart of fandom — a world of egotistic celebrities, diehard costumed fans and enough drama for two galaxies

   “So it wasn’t a dream…” Are Castle & Beckett still together? After the Hamptons we were left with a healthy “leave it to the imagination” romantic weekend & an “It was murder that brought us together…”; reinforcement as to how perfect this two imperfect people are for each other How did we go from Eddi Vedder Falling harder than ever…,dark tunnel to light, green meadows & the sea to…Becket in tears & despair? I am all for drama, suspense, murder, romance…mayhem, but we are bordering on insanity here The Final Frontier might as well be the looney bin. Spoilers are confusing, we know, but 4 years of blood, sweat & tears to fall back in despair so soon? Mr. Tomio – Kate Beckett was shot by a snipper, used as a punching bag by our villain & thrown off a roof…seriously. She bounces back to her ruggedly handsome Richard with not a hair out of place – & now we are left with an image of her face in such pain, agony & despair as we have never witnessed before? SOS -Please cuff Terri Miller & Andrew Marlowe together (left hand please) to provide us with a healthy flow; CASTLE’s cast & crew are wicked awesome-but we could use some DOUBLE RAINBOWS-pretty please??
