Who’s the Gossip Girl on Gossip Girl? Fans want Kristen Bell?
A lot of the stars of The CW’s Gossip Girl you see every week are above chiming in on the mystery of TV gossip girl, including Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Michelle Trachtenberg, Chace Crawford and Ed Weswick, along with the executive producers, but it seems like it’s the one you hear that fans want to actually see. While there is precedence for this beyond the truth that everyone would like to see the lovely Kristen Bell any chance they get, it may not be a lock (possible spoilers below).
Kristen Bell herself has revealed she’d be happy to appear in the final season of Gossip Girl in a cameo, though if you are not a fan of the books the series is sourced from, you may not be as impacted, something Bell admits. While Bell has been the voice of the show from jump it’s apparently not clear cut that she will be revealed if it suits the show to go in another direction for the most impact on screen. I should clarify for some that we are talking about the real Gossip Girl, not the stints by Georgina and Serena.
Gossip Girl returns for its 6th and final season on October 8th with the premiere “Gone Maybe Gone”, and we have a full episode gallery for you to tease the beginning of the end for the Upper East Side team.
