Once Upon a Time LOVES Colin O’Donoghue’s Captain Hook

Seems like we were just talk about Captain Hook debuting on ABC’s Once Upon a Time. Oh yeah, we were, and even before fans of the ABC fantasy/drama see the pirate captain in an actual episode - Colin O’Donoghue will debut as the character in an episode title “The Crocodile” – the character initially tabbed to recur on Once Upon a Time has been bumped to a regular.

O’Donoghue must have made an impression, and according to EW that’s exactly what the Irish actor did, making Once Upon a Time bosses Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz move to lock up his services for their second season. The show, as do most, does this often when they see something they like, with both Emile de Ravin and Meghan Ory getting the similar treatment from their work as Belle and Ruby last year. As noted above, Hook will debut in “The Crocodile”, the 4th episode of the season set to air on ABC on October 21st. That confirms what I said earlier when we got a teaser last week that featured both Hook and Lancelot, i.e. the video was a a loo ahead beyond the next episode. What’s he going to be up to when he arrives? Well, we do know that Hook will be sharing screen time with another newcomer, Jamie Chung’s Mulan at least.

Also, if we are getting too far ahead, don’t forget that we recently preview images for tomorrow’s chapter of Once Upon a Time – so check those out if you haven’t already!
