Psych Season 7 Musical Episode Could Use a Dash of Rocky Horror Picture Show

Psych USA Network

Do you remember watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show when you were younger? If your answer is no you need to A) feel ashamed, and B) go freaking see it! I cannot even begin to impress upon you how essential this movie/stageplay is to our culture. And once you have let your eyeballs gaze upon the wonderfully twisted world of Rocky Horror you will be instantaneously more excited to learn Barry Bostwick will be doing an episode of Psych Season 7, and not just any episode either, no sir. Bostwick will be lending his considerable talents to the musical episode announced this summer at Comic-Con. If you aren’t twitching from excitement yet then you must have some kind of condition and should seek medical guidance.

As reported by EW, Bostwick will be playing a man known as Armitage in the upcoming two-hour musical episode. The episode is currently in production in Vancouver, yet I thus far been unsuccessful in my attempts to catch a single millisecond of filming in my many scourings of my city. It’s really starting to bum me out. I never run in to anybody famous, but all my friends seem to have coffee with John Noble or Jared Padalecki every other night and they never invite me! Maybe I want to hang out with Barry Bostwick! Is that such a crime?!

Sorry. I got a little out of hand there. As I was saying, filming is under way and you can bet Bostwick will be belting out a song or two. His Armitage character is a businessman and the owner of a luxurious theater in Santa Barabara. Also guest starring in the musical episode is Brooke Lyons (2 Broke Girls) and Anthony Rapp (Rent). And no, I haven’t been able to “bump” into them either. Celebrities are so slippery. One of these days though, my time will come and I’ll meet somebody uber famous. And you’ll all be jealous.
