Casting is in full swing for 90210 season five, which began in October. The reboot series has scooped up several celebs for upcoming episodes. These guest stars include NFL star Terrell Owens and former New Kid on the Block band member Joey McIntyre.
TV loves Owens. He has taken a ride on the reality television wagon and now he’s all set to deliver a cameo on 90210 in February. The TVLine exclusive revealed his episode will include a huge charity event where celebrities, including Owens, will be in attendance.
Also headed to Beverly Hills is crooner Joey McIntyre. TV Line explained that McIntyre would also appear in a February episode. He’s playing a music manager on the rise toward fame who will have some business dealings with Dixon, portrayed by Tristan Wilds. The part shouldn’t be too much of a stretch for the singer.
Owens played himself in the football film, Any Given Sunday. He has also been seen on the USA Network in the drama called Necessary Roughness and, believe it or not, on Dr. Phil.
McIntyre has been active in the guest star game, too. He appeared on Psych, CSI: NY, and in the feature film, New Year’s Eve.
Carmen Electra and Nelly Furtado already visited California’s hottest zip code this month. That went down yesterday, but if you missed it on the CW, look for episodes online.
90210 has made several recent additions to their pool of actors. Californication actress Lyndon Smith will appear in six to nine episodes as a character named Michaela who is described as being a real free-spirit. Glee star Grant Gustin is confirmed as winning a recurring role. Taio Cruz is also on his way to the popular drama.
90210 airs Monday nights. It’s stars include Shenae Grimes as Annie, AnnaLynne McCord as Naomi, Jessica Stroup as Silver, Michael Steger as Navid, Jessica Lowndes as Adrianna and Matt Lanter as Liam.
