Superhero Comedy The Thundermans Get’s Nickelodeon’s Green Light

Nickelodeon-The-Thundermans

We have got the latest on a fun new family comedy getting Nickelodeon’s green light. The new series is called The Thundermans and it will follow an unusual pair of twins. If you’re into superheroes, you’re going to want to pay close attention to this scoop.

The 14-year old twins will be acted by Kira Kosarin and Jack Griffo. As brother and sister, they get to experience the highs and lows of sharing the same bathroom, school, and younger siblings, explained the THR exclusive. That may be their lives on the surface, but underneath it all, the boy and girl are as different as night and day; good and evil.

You see, she is smart and classy and people just love her. She fully intends on becoming a capable superhero someday. Her twin brother on the other hand is already a young super villain. Let the drama and mishaps ensue!

Jed Spingarn will executive produce The Thundermans. He worked on both The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and Johnny Bravo in the past and has plans for 13-episodes of the new series.

The network has also ordered up The Haunted Hathaways, the iCarly spinoff called Sam & Cat and Wendell and Vinnie, starring iCarly‘s Jerry Trainor, which kicks off this week.

Rosa Blasi, Chris Tallman, Jack Griffo, Diego Velazquez and Addison Riecke will all co-star in Thundermans, which I failed to mention is a live-action show.

Actress Kira Kosarin is a very pretty girl. She appeared in an episode of Shake It Up! I’m very interested to see the rest of the family because Jack Griffo is very All American looking, whereas Kosarin could pass as several different ethnicities. Family diversity is also fun. With Rosa Blasi also in the cast, maybe there’s some Hispanic blood in our heroes.
