As we watch excitedly for ongoing developments over in Joss Whedon’s camp for updates on his upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. series, it’s nice to know there’s more than one place to get a Marvel comics fix on television. Disney XD has announced premier dates for their all new Avengers and Hulk animated series. We’ve got the skinny right here.

Marvel’s Avengers Assemble is the name for the first series, which promises to spotlight some of your favs. Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye and even some you may be a little less familiar are on the team duty roster. Sunday, May 26 will offer a sneak preview of the animated goodness, but the official premier is scheduled for Sunday, July 7.

The second series is called Marvel’s Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.. That’s a mouthful! It will debut on Sunday, August 11. TV line has confirmed it.

So let’s learn about the voice acting talent, shall we?

Avengers Assemble shows our notorious team living together in a new central headquarters, Avengers Tower. Some of the villains we’ll cross along the way are Dr. Doom, Attuma and the Atlantean Army and Dracula. Yikes! Actor Adrian Pasdar, a.k.a. Heroes‘ Nathan Petrelli will voice Iron Man, Fred Tatasciore is Hulk, Roger Craig Smith of Wreck-It Ralph will play Captain America, Travis Willingham of Shelf Life is Thor, Troy Baker will voice Hawkeye, Laura Bailey is Black Widow and Bumper Robinson from The Game will play Falcon.

For Marvel’s Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. the gorgeous Eliza Dushku is She-Hulk. It doesn’t get more exciting than that. Clancy Brown will voice Red Hulk, Ben Diskin is Skaar and Seth Green previously of Robot Chicken will play A-Bomb.

It also doesn’t hurt that both animated series have terrific art. Just check out the posters. So are you ready to S.M.A.S.H.?
