Father/ Daughter Day For The Dansons On CSI

CSI

Ever seen Ted Danson’s daughter, Kate Danson? You’ll meet her soon enough. The younger Danson was invited to guest star on the set of CSI. Let me tell you, there is quite a family resemblance.

Over at the flagship CSI series, it may as well have been bring your daughter to work day, reported TV Guide. The episode daddy and daughter partnered on is a wrap as far as filming goes, but you and I won’t be able to watch until April 3.

The upcoming episode of CSI: Las Vegas the ongoing 13th season and its titled “Sheltered”. Actress Kate Danson will guest as a lawyer by the name of Jill McDermott. During this episode of the hit CBS procedural, our CSIs will discover a murder victim near a forest reserve. There are strong signs that this is a serial murder. Might the villain keep a lair in the woods? This is sure to be a creepy installment.

Don’t expect Kate and Ted to be working together peacefully. Remember, they aren’t playing relatives on the show. The good word is, both characters will butt heads.

“I play a lawyer who knows she’s in the right and the CSI team have done something wrong,” Kate Danson said. “So I come pretty hard at my dad and dig into him, which was a lot of fun to play.”

“I was really fortunate to get to work with him on CSI,” she continued. “It was so much fun. We never worked together like that. We did a short film together but nothing professional until now, so it was really great going head to head with him.”

What’s really noteworthy is that Kate’s role could potentially become a recurring one. I’m sure she’ll do a terrific job. Dad is there to coach her, too.

CSI hits on Wednesdays at 10/9c only on CBS.
