Two And A Half Men Delivers Hilary Duff And Her Grandmother Too
Okay, so I lied. Two and a Half Men won’t be casting Hilary Duff’s grandmother. Duff is however, a special guest star scheduled to appear in the upcoming season finale. If you’ve been following our coverage on the comedy, then you already know that Marilu Henner will also guest in the exciting episode. Have you put two and two together yet? Yes, Henner will play Duff’s gram on the show and we might just see both actresses locking lips with Walden. Dun dun dun!
No, this isn’t some kind of nasty three way…we don’t think! But the show’s Walden, acted by the inscrutable Ashton Kutcher, will have quite a dilemma on his hands in the May 9 season 10 finale, when he is dating one young lady, Hilary Duff’s character, Stacey, but meets her grandmother, to be played by Henner, and falls for her instead! Can you blame him? Henner looks great for her age, don’t you think?
Whatever happens, you can bet it will be hilarious. My interest is especially piqued because this little surprising scenario has been reserved for the season finale. What twists or cliffhangers might be in store?
As I mentioned when we learned of Henner’s upcoming inclusion on the show, this episode could prove what we have long known to be true about Kutcher. He isn’t afraid to make fun of himself. He did love a certain older woman for quite some time. And his character Walden did marry somewhat of a mothering type, his now ex-wife Bridget, acted by Judy Greer.
In addition to Lizzie McGuire, Duff has also appeared on Gossip Girl, Raising Hope and Community.
When it comes to Men, one thing we haven’t heard yet is whether or not the show will be renewed for an 11th season. The good word is that CBS is still negotiating with Warner Bros. Television on that matter. Are your fingers crossed? Many thought season 8 would finish the series, but beginning with season 9, Ashton Kutcher has breathed more life into the series for 2 years now.
