When Pretty Little Liars returns to ABC Family, audiences will be introduced to One Life to Live star Kamar de los Reyes, who has agreed to play a guest role for the summer season. He’ll have his swim trunks with him and we’ll tell you why.
Kamar de los Reyes played Antonio Vega on One Life to Live, but the THR exclusive announced that he would take the role of Dominic, “a respected swimming coach” in town whose claim to fame is having mentored athletes who have gone on to spotlight at the Olympics. Speculation would suggest he and Emily, acted by Shay Mitchell, may be working together on screen. His appearance will air sometime this August.
Reyes Tweeted about his work, sharing, “First day on set. @ABCFpll cast and crew were awesome!! Had so much fun!” Before that he wrote, “So excited to guest star on one of televisions #HOTTEST shows.”
Reyes has Valley of the Dolls, Blue Bloods, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and ER on his resume.
Pretty Little Liars airs at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays only on ABC Family. Season four is sailing along and Rumer Willis was recently added to the cast.
In the season four premier a heck of a lot went down, let me tell you. “‘A’ Is for A-l-i-v-e,” was the episode title and that body we were so concerned about in Detective Wilden’s trunk turned out not to even belong to a human. It was actually a dead pig. Oh yeah, but that discovery only led to a more gruesome one. Wilden is also dead.
There is a second Queen of Hearts on the scene and when Melissa unmasks herself as that very individual, Mona’s computer gets hacked. Woops.
Aria becomes, well, a headcase at one point, which throws us off quite a bit. And Hanna and Mona are acting friendly again. Toby gets some backstory, involving his mother, of course, and though it is very emotional, Toby has little choice when “A” sends a text directing him to revisit the trauma from long ago.
Alison’s mother, acted by Andrea Parker gets some screen time and starts to look suspicious. All in all an interesting season is starting to unfold.
