Good Luck Charlie Disney Channel

You know what’s more fun than your usual weekend of letting your children sit in front of the television instead of encouraging them to go outside while its still summer and getting some good old fashioned exercise? A themed weekend of letting your children sit in front of the television instead of encouraging them to go outside while its still summer and getting some good old fashioned exercise! The Disney Channel is planning just such an event from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28, when it will be airing its Flash Forward Weekend. Every show that weekend will involve some kind of look into the future of Disney’s regular programs.

According to TVLine, things kick off on the Friday with A.N.T. Farm and will wrap up on Sunday, but Saturday will be an airing of the Dance Along edition of Teen Beach Movie, so in a way this Flash Forward Weekend only covers two nights instead of the usual three; unless you count Teen Beach Movie as a flash forward, which I wouldn’t because it involves being transported inside a movie.

Out of all the shows participating, we only have a glimpse of one of them: Good Luck Charlie. In the picture up top, you can see Ava Sambor, who will be guest starring as the grown-up Charlie. Some of the shows will involve time travel, while others are just a glimpse into the future without all the confusing sciencey stuff.

In A.N.T. Farm, a teenaged Zoltan arrives in a time machine and falls in love with Chyna and won’t go back to the future without his true love. Meanwhile, Lexi travels back in time in order to fix an ugly photo taken on her 5th grade school picture day.

On Jessie, Future Jessie appears from an elevator time machine, warning Present Jessie to run for her life. Why? Because Ravi, once he’s grown up, will invent a robot version of Bertram that will evolve into an army itching to destroy Jessie and take over the world.

Fish Hooks has Fishington decide to cut the Drama Department, motivating Bea and her friends to venture into Fishington’s brain in order to change her mind.

Ten years in the future of Good Luck Charlie, Charlie watches a video diary made by Teddy about a fight she had with Gabe in the hopes it will guide her through her fight with an 11-year-old Toby.

In Dog with a Blog, Avery throws a party for a city official’s demanding daughter. The party spirals out of control and could jeopardize her future aspirations to be President of the United States.

Austin & Ally’s Austin and Ally are transported to a fantastical future where advanced technology makes the art of song writing less personal and begin to appreciate the traditional process.

Twenty-two years in the future of Shake It Up, the 20th high school reunion is just a day away. Rocky and CeCe have successful careers, but have fallen out of touch. Dine, now married to Deuce, wants Rocky and CeCe to dance together, but the duo can’t seem to agree on anything. Elsewhere, Ty and Tinka realize they missed out on something truly special: each other.
