Amanda Peet Bent on NBC
Amanda Peet hasn’t been on NBC since Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip back in 2007 but TVLine is reporting that she’s returning to her former home in a single camera romantic comedy, Bent, that’s being put together by former Scrubs producer Tad Quill. The show, which is under consideration for the 2011-2012 season, will [...]

Roland Emmerich’s 2012 – Japanese trailer
Actually quite a bit different from the initial domestic trailer we got in June. I’ve said this before, but I’m a sucker for the global disaster films, and I’ve read enough books that revel minutia, so I feel no shame in admitting that I have (at least on some level) enjoyed watching Emmerich’s popish-SF films. We’ve seen images, and well it looks like what we expect it to look like.

Roland Emmerich’s 2012 Images

Over at Film Filia they put up some images depicting what is at this point, just a tranquil walk in the park for Emmerich.

Emmerich’s 2012 trailer
Roland Emmerich is no stranger to disaster movies. Among several other films, he directed and produced Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow (also The Patriot–which I liked, I know some didn’t). His next project, 2012, taps the Mayan prophecy to take humanity back to the brink once again.

Amanda Peet in Gulliver’s Travels
Not sure if I’ve heard of this film before but 20th Century Fox is making a Gulliver’s Travels film, and they’ve landed the character that will serve as Gulliver’s (Jack Black) editor in Amanda Peet. This is apparently a modern adaptation of the classic work by Jonathan Swift. Is this the movie that Emily Blunt [...]
