Explore James Cameron’s AVATAR at DISNEY
If you were blown away by the world of Pandora in James Cameron’s Avatar, you might be excited to know that you will soon have a chance to have your own otherworldly Avatar adventure when you visit Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
James Cameron – Avatar 2 and 3 To Be Shot Together, Cast Back.
If James Cameron films them, the audiences will come. What are they? They are the next two chapters of the cinematic Avatar trilogy. And I’m sure director Cameron is betting they will pack audiences into the theaters big time. EW.com reports the Terminator and Titanic director unleashed the news at the recent PGA Awards that [...]
James Cameron’s Avatar to be a Trilogy with Avatar 2 and 3
In a move that surprised no one, James Cameron has signed on to direct Avatar 2 and 3 for a film trilogy of the immensely successful film, reports Variety. In this day and age when sequels are made from films that barely break even, it was just a matter of time before it was announced [...]
Avatar – movie review
Avatar is a great film. Here is a movie that will actually surprise you and offer things you have never seen before. James Cameron has delivered a special effects powerhouse that is actually an extended acid trip in the jungle. The human tech is underwhelming, so is the heavy-handed theme, but consider these as elements tacked on to a movie about exploring the forest.

Avatar – Sam Worthington Chase clip!
![]()
The frequency of Avatar news has heated up as we are only a couple days away from the theatrical release (December 18th)! This new clip (check out another recent 3-minute clip) is of Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana (at least her voice) in a chase scene, riding Pandoran banshees and chased by Leonopteryx. What are those? Questions like that reveal the importance of the “jump”.

Avatar – Leona Lewis “I See You” Video
Back in November we got the word that James Cameron has tabbed Leona Lewis to close the curtain on Avatar with “I See You”. If you’re my age you still can’t escape (and we’re trying) the Celine Dion treatment that Cameron’s Titanic got. I actually like Lewis, I think she’s funky, but I wasn’t not entirely feeling this, though the video kind of helps/adds context.
Avatar – 3-minute clip!

Another look – this one 3 minutes long – at James Cameron’s Avatar to add to the two others we’ve posted here this month. There’s been a ton of clips, tv spots and trailers, but this one has a scene I haven’t seen the majority of elsewhere. Seems like initial buzz (that I’ve seen) for early screenings is positive–can’t wait until we get to find out for myself!

Avatar – “You Should See Your Faces” clip
![]()
IGN has released a new clip from James Cameron’s Avatar (man, it feels kind of like we just took the jump to light speed to the opening date – December 18th). We’ve seen this phrase “You Should See Your Faces” in several clips or TV spots (which you can catch up on our rather extensive coverage of the promo material for the film) released previously but hell, more Avatar is more Cameron, and that’s a good thing. The first of the month brought us a ton of new Spots–now we have more!

Avatar – more from James Cameron’s World!
A ton more TV Spots giving us even more of James Cameron’s 3-D Avatar! You can add these to all the publicity stops we’ve seen Cameron do this month at CNN, 60 Minutes, and a sweet featurette “Making a Scene”. All very interesting, and worth your time!

Avatar – “Making a Scene” 10-minute Featurette
Almost 10 minutes of Avatar in a featurette that has film footage and James Cameron with some of the cast talking about the film. Cameron also shares his favorite scene from the upcoming film. We’ve seen a bit of Cameron talking Avatar over the last week, with his interview on CNN and the 60 Minutes feature.

James Cameron talking Avatar on CNN
Yesterday I posted the piece on James Cameron and Avatar that aired on 60 Minutes and today we continue the SF goodness at major promo venues with the piece on Avatar w/Cameron on CNN. The first is a 14-minute interview with the network’s Jason Carroll, and the other is a shorter “World of Avatar” featurette.

James Cameron Talking Avatar on 60 Minutes
Below I’ve embedded the 12-minute piece that 60 Minutes did on/with James Cameron. With Avatar just weeks away, I’m not sure if anyone really knows what to expect, but Cameron does just call out OJ as being guilty–so check it out!
