Well, here’s a brand new teaser trailer for the upcoming game that may shed some light. This trailer does reveal some of [...]

Call of Duty: Black Ops – Call of the Dead Trailer includes Sarah Michelle Gellar and Killer Cast

By Marty Shaw on April 27, 2011

Who ya gonna call when zombies overrun a Siberian island? Well, it won’t be the Ghostbusters because they’re a little too tame for this kind of action. Kotaku recently revealed a dream cast (or is that nightmare cast) of zombie killers that are totally in their element when it comes to kicking butt and taking [...]

Here is the first moving look at Call of Duty: Black Ops that hit the web via Game Trailers. Black Ops will be available on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms on November 9th. MTV pointed to a retail site that had a product listing with synopsis, but now that I check, they are [...]

Mapathy Cure, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack Injection

By B.T. Robertson on March 10, 2010

If you can’t read the latest Infinity Ward ad image depicting a condition they’re calling “Mapathy”, here it is: Mapathy (often express as, “How the hell did you know I was there?”) is a state of indifference to the same old maps one has been playing for the last several months. The Mapathetic individual no [...]

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3) – Final Review

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3) – Final Review

This is my final review of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The fact of the matter is that the game is flawed. Multiplayer is, as expected, fantastic, but should a single mode be enough to merit the media scores for this title and even rumored talk of Game of the Year 2009? What follows is a completely unbiased and honest review of this game, ending with a score that will shock most readers, for good or ill.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3) – First Impressions Review

November 10, 2009 will long live in the annals of gaming history as the day that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (CoDMW2) hit consoles and PCs everywhere to much fanfare and controversy. For Yours Truly, the game is both a triumph and a disappointment, bittersweet in every way. I don’t know whether to love it or hate it, truth be told, because the moment I feel any sort of feeling one way or another, the game throws me another curveball. Sometimes I can read it and knock it out of the park, other times I stand there as it floats by scratching my head in bewilderment. I’ll explain.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign (XBox 360) – Review

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign (XBox 360) – Review

By Eli on November 19, 2009

Modern Warfare 2 requires the player to check off a box accepting the violent content of the level before playing, and the game make good on its promises. The plot is over the top, but the scenarios are extremely daring for a major commercial release like this. The game’s bravado earned it some amusing liberal handwringing (check out this laughable review from Slate) and off-the-mark commentary, and it is noteworthy. Major spoilers within!
