Small Beer Press Sale + Charity Fundraiser
It’s the holidays and it’s time to think about other people! Just got an email from little brew King Gavin Grant telling me that always recommended Small Beer Press is having a sale which is correlating with a fundraiser for the Franciscan Children’s Hospital. All of their stock is one sale BUT if you order them at full price, the entire difference goes to the charity. If bought at the sale price, $1 will be donated for every purchase. This is personal for Gavin and Kelly Link–check out their post about it at Small Beer.
BSC wishes Gavin, Kelly, and little Ursula best wishes! Time to order some books–there is not a bad book in their entire catalog, you can’t go wrong!!

Not wanting to get upstaged by donation accumulated by Jeremy Piven, Theron offered a kiss for 130k, which was followed by a male’s $135k bid (loser) and a female’s 140k bid (winner).

News – Patrick Rothfuss Takes High Road Subterranean Style
About mid-November one of our members informed us that Patrick Rothfuss (author of The Name of the Wind) was doing some fund raising for the Heifer International. In his own words, this is what Heifer is about: Heifer International is my favorite charity. It helps people raise themselves up out of poverty and starvation. All [...]
