Comic Movie Billionare Throwdown: Why I’ll Pick Stark Industries Over Wayne Enterprises Any Day
VS No one goes to see a Batman movie to see Bruce Wayne. With Tony Stark, I could watch a whole movie about him. In fact, I’d pay to see a sequel to Swingers, where Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn return to Vegas and have an hour and forty-five minute time of their lives [...]
Christian Bale and Jennifer Carpenter New Dark Tower Favorites?
As I’ve mentioned before, casting for Ron Howard’s adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower is hot and heavy, with many of Hollywood’s leading men vying for the role of the gunslinger, Roland Deschain. The New York Post has recently revealed that Christian Bale has pulled ahead of two of the more popular contenders, Javier [...]
Christian Bale in Zhang Yimou’s Nanjing Heroes
Zhang Yimou’s next film, Nanjing Heroes, is likely to stir up some controversy as it deals with a Japanese atrocity that took place during 1937. It’s made in China for the Chinese with Batman (that’s Christian Bale, not Michael Keaton) in a lead role as an American priest. The director of Raise the Red Lantern [...]
Christian Bale – ‘Dark Knight Rises’ 3rd & Final Batman?
Here at BSC, we are all about the Batman. We can’t wait to learn more solid details about Christopher Nolan’s upcoming follow up to Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Of course, we already know the basics. Tom Hardy is in the movie, called The Dark Knight Rises, but who will he play? The third [...]
The Fighter tease from Mad Men Season Finale
Here’s a preview from Mark Wahlberg’s upcoming movie The Fighter. The clip was shown during the season finale of Mad Men on AMC. Directed by David O. Russell (Three Kings and Spanking The Monkey), the film is based on the true story of junior welterweight boxer “Irish” Micky Ward. Wahlberg plays Ward, and Christian Bale [...]
Fighter trailer – Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale
What a difference an “-ing” ending makes. For those of you who were utterly disappointed, like I was, with the abysmal, laughable, incompetent piece of trash Fighting starring Channing Tatum, that no-talent ass-clown John Cena-wannabe, don’t be quick to judge this effort starring Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale. For starters, both of these guys can [...]
Eli’s Plot Twist – Public Enemies review
Michael Mann is the de facto king of cops and robbers city street shootouts. Public Enemies makes a nice shift to period piece old timey stuff with no loss in crisp edge.

Amy Adams joins Bale and Wahlberg in Fighter
Fighter, the David O. Russell film starring Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg now has its female lead in Amy Adams. With a David Owen Russell film the news for me is if he is able to get out of production without some sort of fight with the cast, as he reportedly seems to historically have [...]
Movie Review – Terminator Salvation
Terminator Salvation is an incredible cinematic achievement. Unfortunately, that achievement happens to be making Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines look great. It pains me, greatly, to say it, but Terminator Salvation is a really, really bad movie.

Public Enemies trailer
Depp, Bale, Michael Mann and and my girl Marion Cotillard (from Innocence – where she was amazing)? John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, and Pretty Boy Floyd?
Sounds awesome, check out the new teaser trailer . . .
New poster for Terminator Salvation
It just seems like it’s continuous hotness for SF/F fans on big screen, and even television, yet I remain disappointed at reported print market share.
Cool new poster for the upcoming . . .
