Scream 4 – movie review
It’s been ten years since Ghostface killed his first victim in Woodsboro. To commemorate the anniversary, a new killer dons the mask and begins a new spree of murders. Series survivors Sidney Prescott (Neve Cambell), Dewey (David Arquette), and Gale Riley (Courtney Cox) are all back for this fourquel. The Scream series is known for [...]

Horror master, director Wes Craven is about to reunite with screenwriter Kevin Williamson, and stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette! You guessed it, Scream 4 is in the works. Heat Vision reports that Lake Bell is being sought to join the cast. She might be joining Ashley Greene (Twilight) and Hayden Panettiere [...]
The Road – movie review
The Road is, unfortunately, a boring movie, and the title might as well be Sittin’ Round the Campfire. The Road, by Cormac McCarthy, is one of the very best books of the decade, and this adaptation falls flat for about half the running time. There are good actors, moments, and visuals, but the whole isn’t more the sum of its parts.

H2: Halloween 2 – Unused Trailer + 2 new clips
A couple of days ago an unused trailer for Rob Zombie’s upcoming H2: Halloween 2 hit the web (I believe via BloodyDisgusting initially) and more recently was joined by two fresh clips, one called In The Mirror and the other Call 911.

Zombie’s Halloween II (H2) has new TV Spots
Two new spots for Rob Zombie’s H2 have hit the web. I’ve noted that this film is being released in August before, but I’ve never asked the obvious question of why this isn’t coming out in October. No matter when it comes out, and though I know many diehard fans will scream sacrilege at some choices by Zombie, what we’ve seen has struck me as a return to some solid slasher/horror filming, as in my mind the franchise had not only become a bit of a caricature of itself, but also of other movies that were a caricature of the originals film in this series.

McCarthy’s The Road has a trailer!
The beginning of May brought a ‘hard’ release date (October 16, 2009) for the adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s Pulitzer Award winning (and 100% ass kicking) novel The Road. Today, a trailer was released!

Cormac McCarthy’s The Road Gets a Release Date?
The adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s The Road starring Viggo Mortensen, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Robert Duvall apparently now has a release date. The Road won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, and was written by the author who wrote the novel No Country for Old Men, which was adapted to film and went on to win four Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

H2 (Halloween 2) trailer
There was a bootleg out yesterday, but now there is a perfectly clear, perfectly awesome trailer for Rob Zombie’s H2: Halloween 2. Previously, we’ve posted a featurette for the film.

DVD Review – Sin City
Director: Frank Miller, Robert Rodriguez Starring: Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke Studio: Dimension Films Release Date: August 16, 2005 Without a doubt, “Sin City” is one of the most visually impressive movies I’ve ever seen. I went into it knowing almost nothing about the “Sin City” graphic novels (which I’ve regrettably not read as [...]
