AKIRA Tabs Gary Oldman And Helena Bonham-Carter?
Akira, the US remake based on the anime comic series of the same name, recently got the green light and the gang at the casting department has been busy making a play for a couple of big names as Gary Oldman and Helena Bonham-Carter are offered roles in the Jaume Collet-Sera-directed project.
Kung Fu Panda 2 – Review – Dreamworks’ Newest Cash Cow
I review the new TV shows, movies, and recap the episodes you missed. Jack Black is back in Kung Fu Panda 2. Now that Shrek is over Dreamworks is looking for their new franchise. Kung Fu Panda 2 brings the laughs and warms the heart just like Shrek but with even more commercial appeal. Kung [...]
Kung Fu Panda 2 Learns Some New, Darker Moves – movie review
I’ll be honest with you from the start; I was not a fan of the first Kung Fu Panda movie. It was typical Dreamworks fluff for me. I walked into Kung Fu Panda 2 expecting a similar empty experience and walked out more full than I could have imagined. The entire film is an [...]

Denzel Washington, Oldman in new Book of Eli trailer
New trailer to add to the one we got back in July for Denzel Washington’s The Book of Eli, a film by the Hughes brothers that should be hitting theaters in January. This is the type of movie that as an SF fan is hard not to be at least slightly intrigued by, especially with the cast it has even beyond Washington.

deux Garys – Shandling & Oldman in Iron Man II
A day after Gary Shandling was announced as a part of the Iron Man II cast, another Gary, one Gary Oldman may be attached to the film as well. (Edited) Contrary to IESB’s inital report, Joblo is now reporting Oldman is in fact not in Iron Man II. I find this interesting as in-between films [...]
