Here is the first moving look at Call of Duty: Black Ops that hit the web via Game Trailers. Black Ops will be available on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms on November 9th. MTV pointed to a retail site that had a product listing with synopsis, but now that I check, they are [...]
Mapathy Cure, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack Injection
If you can’t read the latest Infinity Ward ad image depicting a condition they’re calling “Mapathy”, here it is: Mapathy (often express as, “How the hell did you know I was there?”) is a state of indifference to the same old maps one has been playing for the last several months. Sometimes I can read it and knock it out of the park, other times I stand there as it floats by scratching my head in bewilderment. I’ll explain.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign (XBox 360) – Review

Modern Warfare 2 requires the player to check off a box accepting the violent content of the level before playing, and the game make good on its promises. The plot is over the top, but the scenarios are extremely daring for a major commercial release like this. The game’s bravado earned it some amusing liberal handwringing (check out this laughable review from Slate) and off-the-mark commentary, and it is noteworthy. Major spoilers within!
