The Ebb Tide by James P. Blaylock review
James P. Blaylock was early on associated with Steampunk, before there was even a Steampunk truthfully. The Ebb Tide is a limited edition hardback novella from Subterranean Press that revisits his characters from the era that was, in some ways, retroactively labeled as Steampunk. Unlike something that is a couple of generations removed and feels diluted The Ebb Tide feels like the real deal (because it is).
Make my Blaylock the P. Blaylock I wants my Blaylock uncut. I want the bomb, I want the Blaylock.
