Atlas #1 – Preview (Marvel Comics!)

By Jay Tomio on May 14, 2010

My favorite team in comics! I reviewed the early material and love all things Jeff Parker, and glad to see we are back to old agents story with no X-disturbances. The former agents enter the Heroic Age next Wednesday, coincidentally the same day you can scoop this issue up! Do it for Woo! Issue Synopsis [...]

Fall of the Hulks: Red Hulk #1 – Preview

Fall of the Hulks: Red Hulk #1 – Preview

By Jay Tomio on January 22, 2010

Friday means that I go through the Marvel’s weekly batch of previews and pull out the BSC-approved one for our reader’s viewing pleasure (got to BSCkids for choice all-ages comics from the Mighty Ones!)! Fall of the Hulks: Red Hulk #1 caught my eye because it’s written by Jeff Parker, who I think needs to be flipping a coin with Matt Fraction to see who writes the next Marvel event. Parker is the mind Agents of Atlas (both the series and mini that came out awhile ago), and you know how I love that series!

Thunderbolts #140 – Preview

Thunderbolts #140 – Preview

By Jay Tomio on January 15, 2010

Back this week with some previews from Mighty Marvel! Thunderbolts has just been a solid book, especially when you consider the players were all removed from the previous incarnation of the team and bumped into what’s been one of Marve’s bestselling titles (Dark Avengers). I liked Diggle as it was, but you throw in my boy from Agents of Atlas (see my thoughts on that title), one Jeff Parker, with the art of Miguel Angel Sepulveda and it just keeps looking good for this title. Be on the lookout for the issue on Wednesday, January 20th!
