FRINGE Subject 9 – Guess Who’s Back?

FRINGE Subject 9 – Guess Who’s Back?

By Ollie C on October 17, 2011

That was unexpected! “Subject 9″ was a great episode that once again proves that Fringe is at its best when it’s concentrating on the main storyline. I was starting to get worried about where Fringe was going this season but now I’m simply excited to see what comes next after that doozy of a cliff-hanger!

FRINGE – The Same Old Story

FRINGE – The Same Old Story

By Ollie C on October 2, 2011

I’m seriously conflicted about this episode and how much I liked it. On one hand the story was great; I loved the idea of a serial killer hunter investigating their alternative self who is actually a serial killer.  It was poignant, emotional and fascinating to watch. My problem is that once again we get another [...]

FRINGE – Is it finally time for answers?

FRINGE – Is it finally time for answers?

By Ollie C on September 26, 2011

Fringe has returned! After long months of waiting, I was hoping that the premiere would finally give us some of the answers to the questions that have bugged me since Season 3’s mind-bending finale. If that was what you were expecting, you will be disappointed.  What we do get is a decent, if unspectacular, [...]

BEYOND THE FRINGE with Joshua Jackson comic

By Brody Gibson on September 22, 2011

Fringe star Joshua Jackson, deciding to try his hand at something a little different than acting as Peter Bishop, is writing a comic book series called Beyond the Fringe. The series, published by DC Entertainment, will be released digitally and will feature stories that take place in between Seasons 3 and 4 of the cult [...]

Fringe Season 4 – First Teaser

Fringe Season 4 – First Teaser

By Jay Tomio on July 16, 2011

The first and very brief teaser for Fringe Season 4 was released by FOX offering us no new footage but still able to keep asking fans questions, even in brevity. Fringe faithful will recognize the footage from a season 1 episode, “The Arrival”, and ends with the symbol you see above. Where is Peter Bishop? [...]

Fringe: “The Day We Died” – review

Fringe: “The Day We Died” – review

By Douglas Cobb on May 7, 2011

Woo-hoo! The season finale of Fringe is now in the books, fans–was it as great as last season’s cliffhanger? Though I liked it, and thought some parts of it were as excellent as any other episode of Fringe that rank among the best, I have my reservations, which I’ll get into in this review. Perhaps [...]

Fringe: “6:02 AM EST” – review

By Douglas Cobb on April 23, 2011

“Just a couple of drops of vanilla extract is my secret ingredient for sugar cookies that are to die for.” No, the bottle Walternate has in his hands is not vanilla extract, but it is enough of Peter’s DNA to activate the Doomsday Machine, a less desirable outcome than delicious sugary dip-in-your-milk good cookies. [...]

Fringe: “Lysergic Acid Diethylamide” – review

By Douglas Cobb on April 16, 2011

“There is nothing to fear, but fear itself!” What are your greatest fears? One of mine is that I might somehow miss an episode of my favorite television show, Fringe, especially as season three is winding down. It’s doing so in a spectacular fashion, IMHO, with episodes like “Lysergic Acid Diethylamide.” It’s a trippy enough [...]

Fringe: “Bloodline” – review

By Douglas Cobb on March 26, 2011

Did you ever have that late-night craving for Chinese food? Bolivia (Anna Torv) isn’t pounding on the windows of her local eatery to satisfy her craving for sweet and sour pork, though, but to try to attract the attention of someone to help her with a different kind of special delivery–that’s right, Fringe fans! Tonight’s [...]

Fringe: “Subject 13″ – review

Fringe: “Subject 13″ – review

By Douglas Cobb on February 27, 2011

Recapturing the past is impossible…or is it? And, if one could do it, should one? Is it worth the cost, no matter what the sacrifice might be, to restore order as much as possible to two alternate universes? Heavy, man–but, dealing with weighty issues is part and parcel for Fringe. The episode “Subject 13″ deals [...]

Fringe: “6B” – review

Fringe: “6B” – review

By Douglas Cobb on February 19, 2011

Love knows no boundaries. Love can even last beyond the grave–or between parallel universes. Love will, as one song says, “keep us together,” and as another song says, “love is all we need.” In the Fringe episode “6B,” the strength of the bonds of love is put to the test. The episode is part love [...]

Fringe: “Immortality” – review

Fringe: “Immortality” – review

By Douglas Cobb on February 13, 2011

What does immortality mean to you? What would you give to achieve it? One can achieve immortality in numerous ways, like finding the cure for a deadly disease like Avian Flu, for instance, or in doing what simply comes naturally–having a baby and passing on your genetic code. Both of these two methods are highlighted [...]
