He’s charming. He’s witty. He’s Jimmy Fallon and he’s dressed like Rob Pattinson and hanging out in a tree. We’re talking about the latest installment of Fallon’s funny recurring Late Night skit, “Bothered with Robert Pattinson”. You have to see this one. Now “Rob” is bothered by World Cup. I suppose it was only a matter of time. As Fallon introduces his skit, pretending the real Rob has posted the video in question at his website robertisbothered.com, he recognized that R-Patz is one “smooth operator”.

In the video itself Fallon’s dark haired version of Pattinson claims World Cup is rubbish because the whole world isn’t actually involved. He starts to name countries that aren’t participating, saying at one point, “What has Latvia done wrong?” He is so bothered this time around that even before the video is over he asks viewers to “get lost” and then scowls deeply. Perhaps poking fun at Pattinson’s growling fight scenes from the first Twilight film, Fallon also winds up hissing cat-like at a vuvuzela (the infamous plastic South African blowing horn).

The last time BSC featured a bothered Pattinson, Fallon’s “Rob” was bothered by iPad. Speaking of the tussle-haired heartthrob, we also happen to be a hub of all things Twilight. We have Twilight Saga: Eclipse clips, like this one where the real Rob smooches Kristen Stewart’s Bella. We’ve got an exciting featurette highlighting all the Cullens. There are exciting teasers, too. Pattinson is also starring in a different kind of movie. It’s called Bel Ami. And hey, did you catch him on Leno? We did!

Last week, Jimmy Fallon introduced his latest installment of his “Bothered with Robert Pattinson” skit. In the recurring feature, Fallon dishevels his hair, climbs a tree (which looks easily like it could be located in Forks, Washington), and rants about topics which bother him in a faux Pattinson-esque British accent. Fallon has portrayed Pattinson as annoyed with everything from Valentine’s Day to Shark Week. In a previous installment, the real Rob Pattinson climbed up the tree with Fallon.

Last night’s “Bothered” was particularly funny. Fallon’s version of Pattinson tackles the iPad, why the device frustrates him, and how there is virtually no way to carry one unless you happen to be a kangaroo. I really enjoy a lot of the skits on Fallon (really loved the LOST spoof “Late”, the “Post-apocalyptic Andy Rooney”, and of course the Robert Pattinson is Bothered bits), and though we tend to be late with new episodes here, I actually caught this one last night, which featured a play on Glee where the Late Night crew battle the cast of Parks and Recreation Twisted Sister-style.

One the same episode, they had Justin Bieber on (so I’m looking for that for BSCkids) now. I have to admit, kid rocked the drums with the Roots (aka the illist band out there period live).

This is the Robert Pattinson appearance on Jimmy Fallon, the real thing, not the – very funny – “Bothered” skits . Pattinson appeared to promote Remember Me (I just put up new promo images of today, and a series of clips yesterday), the romance film that he stars in with Lost’s Emile de Ravin. Speaking of Lost, Pattinson shares how long he was able to follow the show in this interview.

I find myself oddly not annoyed by Pattinson press appearances and interviews, and think he comes off as easy to laugh and even slightly goofy. By the audience noise you can tell the guy has no problem with the pimp game. I think ‘Ive seen a Beatle appear on Fallon’s show before and get that kind of reaction. Remember Me comes out on March 12th and up next for Pattinson is Twilight Eclipse and Bel Ami, in which he stars in with Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas and Christina Ricci.

Pattinson will be appearing on the Jon Stewart’s Daily Show later today.

I’m guessing he’s promoting Remember Me, the film he stars in with Emilie De Ravin., though I wonder if Fallon will ask him about the Bel Ami and some of the gossip chatter about age differences and the nature of that film.

I’m a big fan of some Fallon’s skit like Post-Apocalyptic Andy Rooney and the Robert Pattinson is Bothered pieces (see them here, here, here, and here).

I’ve said this before, but after beign rather indifferent (though I love the Roots!), Fallon is growing on me. Skits like this and Slow Jammin’ The News are golden.
