New Look at Disney’s Rapunzel

Now that The Princess and the Frog is behind us, the next (non-Pixar) Disney project in my sights is Rapunzel, which features Zachary Levi and Mandy Moore giving voice to the classic tale. This image adds to a few we’ve posted thus far and is from the pages of Studio CinéLive (but brought online by DisneyPixar.fr).

Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi in Disney’s Rapunzel

Back in July I posted some concept art of Disney’s Rapunzel which included some rumors of who could possibly be cast as the voice actors. Now Empire is reporting that Rapunzel will be voiced by Mandy Moore, and Chuck’s Levi will voice what’s being described as a roguish bandit in the Digital, 3D-animated, musical, action-adventure feature. As noted in the previous post, Byron Howard & Nathan Greno will be directing the film.

Disney’s Rapunzel Concept Art
I wish I could remember the site, but when they first started to break and I was looking for Alice in Wonderland promo material, I ran into a site that was wondering why people weren’t talking more about this Rapunzel project. I seem to remember it was mentioned that they were both noted in the same Disney D23 issue (but don’t quote me on that). Anyways I ran into these concept images over at /Film.
